As a former professional dancer, Mahri Relin danced in New York City and around the world for over 12 years. She began her fitness career as a trainer for the Tracy Anderson Studio and went on to become the Creative Director for FlyBarre at Flywheel Sports as it grew internationally. Mahri knew she wanted to branch out and try the ideas that she had refined and perfected through her own research, her work with clients, and her connection with the emerging city fitness scene. She established Body Conceptions, deemed one of the two "Best Body-Sculpting Workouts" in New York City by Vogue. Body Conceptions has also been featured in The New York Times, Fitness Magazine, Health Magazine, Shape, Self, Redbook, DuJour, The New York Daily News, Well + Good, Prevention and Dance Spirit Magazine. Mahri has created feature content for Fitness Magazine, Health Magazine, and Elizabeth Street and is a select trainer for Ford Models.
Body Conceptions Class Description
Body Conceptions is designed to create the coveted lean and sculpted body of a dancer, but you don’t have to be a dancer to do it! Throughout each class, every part of your body is targeted – from your arms and abs to your thighs, glutes and heart. Both the cardio and body-sculpting components of the method use integrated movements that involve multiple muscles and require engagement of and connection to your core. Every class will test your limits – but the current, exciting music combined with the energy and joy infused into the workout will make you almost forget you are working so hard!
